Biography



 


David has over 40 years Police experience having served in the Metropolitan Police, Royal Military Police and more recently with the Hertfordshire Constabulary. He has seen service in London, Northern Ireland and BAOR (Germany). His range of experience includes normal Police Duties, Special Investigation Branch, Village Policeman, CID and for the latter part as a Scenes of Crime Officer. He has attended all manner of crime scenes from, routine car crime to murder scenes.

David retired as a serving officer in 2000 but continued to work for the constabulary in the role of SOCO and was employed as the Force Forensic Awareness Trainer still attending the occasional major scene. He holds the Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal together with the General Service Medal and Accumulated Campaign Service Medal.

In a career break between the Metropolitan Police and the Military Police David worked In the leisure industry working with such stars as Bob Monkhouse, Ronnie Corbett, 'Diddy' David Hamilton and other celebrities of that era. He has regularly organised and MC'd Cabaret's, Dinners and Balls that he has helped run for the organisations to which he belongs. His hobbies Include Masonry, Golf, Rugby and Cooking.
